  • K-12 Music Teacher: Responsibilities to include 7-12 Concert Band, 7-12 Choir, 5-6 Band 4th Grade recorders, and K-6 Music instruction.

Classified Positions:

  • Technology Director: The Technology Director manages all of the district's technology and data systems including the wired and managed wireless network, firewall, web content filter, anti-malware, file servers, desktops, hosted VOIP phone system, video surveillance system,  A/V systems, printers and one-to-one chromebook program.  Data systems include the PowerSchool student information management system, Mileposts learning management system, the NWEA MAP assessment system, and various on-line curriculum products. Other duties include supporting and training staff and student users, maintaining the district website, managing the automated notification system,  planning and budgeting for technology needs, purchasing and maintaining inventories of technology equipment, securing Erate discounts, and state ISEE data reporting.  Click here for a complete job description. General Information

  • Applicants for any position subject to background check and drug test.
  • All employees of Cascade School District 422 are eligible to participate in the 403(b) and 403(b)7 plans available in the District. Currently, the District offers plans from American Fidelity, AG VALIC and PERSI.
  • Cascade School District #422 is made up of Cascade Elementary School and Cascade Jr./Sr. High School, totaling approximately 230-250 students each year. Beginning teacher salary is $34,946 which increases based on education and experience.

Certified employees in the professional rungs of the salary schedule (P1 to P10) with a BA or BS plus 24 credits receive an additional $1200 for 2017-2018, and those with an advanced degree receive an additional $2,100 for 2017-18.
