Drama and Communication Through Acting

Drama is a communications class based on performance of skits, one-act plays, and full-length plays for the public. In the past years, the class has performed in the Novotny Gymnasium, at The Ashley Inn, and at the Roxy Theater. The drama class hosts an end of the year show called "Ramscars" in which positive and humorous awards are presented to students selected and voted upon by the drama class. Drama class develops speaking, reading, leadership, and artistic skills; students also develop confidence and friendships. Several CHS graduates have gone on to study drama at Idaho universities and perform at the college level. Drama requires time and energy, but it is also one of the most memorable high school classes students take.
