Past repertoire

The Concert Choir consists of students in 7^th grade through 12^th grade. This group meets separately throughout the school as a Junior High class and a High School class. The two groups are combined prior to the concert for rehearsals. The Concert Choir classes provide students with in-depth knowledge of their voices, other timbres and ranges of voices, elements of music, proper fundamentals of breathing, posture, and diction, age-appropriate choir literature, and rehearsal techniques. Special emphasis will be placed on developing musicianship and ensemble responsibility through performance in a variety of settings. The students will also become life-long learners of music and be able to enjoy it through-out their adult life. Students are encouraged to use the Resources page that offers many useful guides and practicing tools for their success! The Concert Choir performs at the four main concerts offered during the school year. Other performances have included performing at the Jazz Concert, Assemblies, and Graduation.
