Past repertoire

The Concert Band consists of students in 7^th grade through 12^th grade with prior band experience or those who take an independent study course with the director. This group meets daily throughout the school year as a 45 minute class. The Concert Band class will provide students with in-depth knowledge of their instruments, other instruments, elements of music, proper fundamentals of breathing and posture, age-appropriate band literature, and rehearsal techniques. Special emphasis will be placed on developing musicianship and ensemble responsibility through performance in a variety of settings. The students will also become life-long learners of music and be able to enjoy it through-out their adult life. Students are encouraged to use the Resources page that offers many useful guides and practicing tools for their success! The Concert Band performs at the four main concerts offered during the school year.
