| | 🌸 Spring is (Almost) in the Air! 🌸Dear Cascade School Families, As we approach the spring season, I wanted to take a moment to share some thoughts with you about the exciting months ahead. While we welcome the sunshine and the melting snow, we are also entering a busy and important time of year for our students. With three months left in the school year, many of our students are gearing up for spring assessments, preparing for graduation, and diving into spring sports and extracurricular activities. At Cascade School, we are committed to keeping our students motivated and focused as we move toward the end of the year. Here are a few ways we’re working together to ensure they finish strong: Goal-Setting & Achievement: We encourage our students to set personal goals for the remainder of the school year, whether in academics, sports, or other areas. We will celebrate progress and growth, highlighting both big and small victories along the way. Engaging Learning Opportunities: With the arrival of spring, we’re integrating the season into our lessons to keep learning fresh and exciting. From outdoor activities to lessons focused on growth and renewal, we’re making the most of the season to connect students with the world around them. Positive School Culture: We’ll be fostering a positive and supportive environment with school-wide events and celebrations that keep spirits high and students engaged. Social & Emotional Support: We understand that the end of the school year can sometimes bring added stress, particularly with assessments. Our staff will continue to provide resources and support to help students stay balanced and focused.
As always, we greatly appreciate your continued support in helping your children stay motivated during this time. Let’s work together to help them finish the year strong, celebrate their hard work, and prepare for the exciting opportunities that lie ahead—whether that’s graduation, moving on to the next grade, or participating in spring sports and activities. Thank you for being such an important part of our Cascade School community. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or if there’s anything we can do to support your child’s success. It's Okay!Dear families, If you were out supporting our Ramblers and unable to attend the meeting about the travel opportunity to Dublin and London last week, no worries!
If you didn't get a chance to share with me your interest in the tour, please email me directly and I will send you the information I shared at the meeting. If you have additional questions or would like to meet with me directly, let me know!
When students travel, they expand their knowledge of the world around them, discover more about themselves, and grow more confident. These skills are critical for creating the global citizens of tomorrow, and we would love to have your student join us on this adventure.
I'm excited to share this opportunity with all high school students who are interested!
Psst...did you know, as a parent, you can sign up to go as well!
Thanks, Nicole Dellabalma nicole@cascadeschools.org

| | | | Building Social Skills for School SuccessSocial skills are just as important as academic skills for school success. Children with disabilities may need extra support in areas like making friends, understanding social cues, or participating in group activities. Parents can help by modeling appropriate behavior, practicing social interactions at home, and encouraging playdates or extracurricular activities to build confidence.
