| | Help Shape our Vision - Your Input Matters! We’re excited to share the draft versions of our updated district vision, values, and objectives—statements that will help guide our work and shape the future for our students and community.
These drafts are the result of months of collaboration, reflection, and shared conversations. Now, we want to hear from you. Your feedback is essential in making sure these statements reflect the heart of who we are and who we strive to become.
You can find everything on our new webpage here: https://www.cascadeschools.org/o/csd/page/long-term-strategic-planning
Please take a few moments this week to read through the drafts and share your input using the short feedback form provided. The window for feedback is open for the next three weeks, but we’d love for you to take a first look now.
Thank you for all you do to live out our mission every day. This process is stronger because of your voice. This feedback session closes on May 8.
Warmly, Cascade School District Trustees | | | Spring ISAT Testing Begins Soon!Dear Cascade Families,
As we move into the final stretch of the school year, we want to remind you that the Idaho Standards Achievement Test (ISAT) will begin soon for students in grades 3–8 and grade 11. Testing will start on Monday, April 28, 2025, and will conclude with make-up testing by May 15, 2025. The ISAT is an important opportunity for students to demonstrate what they have learned this year. We encourage you to talk with your child about the importance of doing their best and showing what they know. To help your child feel confident and prepared, here are a few ways you can support them at home: Ensure they get plenty of sleep each night, especially before testing days. Provide a healthy breakfast to start the day off right. Encourage a positive attitude and help reduce any stress or anxiety. Talk with your child about the testing process and remind them that doing their best is what matters most.
We appreciate your partnership in helping your student succeed. Thank you for your continued support of our schools and our students! Sincerely, Chuck Silzly Principal, Cascade Schools

Some children may learn best by seeing (visual learners), while others might prefer to hear (auditory learners) or do (kinesthetic learners). By identifying your child’s strengths, you can support their learning at home by using strategies that match their preferred style.
