So proud of this group tight here. These girls endured to the end and literally left all they had on the court this week. We played 8 games in two days (7-1) and 12 games in four days (9-3 overall). Thanks to TVCC and head coach Riley Helmick for affording us an opportunity to get better, the parents gor they’re support, coach Codi Thurston fir assisting me. 🎉📚 Celebrating Second Grade Success! 📚🎉 We are thrilled to announce that 85% of our second graders scored proficient on the Idaho Reading Inventory (IRI) for the 2024-2025 school year! To put that in perspective, last year's state average in the spring was 66.2% — and our students blew it out of the water! 🚀 https://www.sde.idaho.gov/assessment/accountability/index.html This amazing growth is a reflection of our students’ hard work, our teachers’ dedication, and the incredible support from families and our school community. 💪📖❤️ Let’s give a huge round of applause to these young readers — the future is bright when it’s built on strong literacy! 🌟👏 #ReadOn #SecondGradeSuccess #ProudToBePanthers #IdahoReadingInventory #85PercentProficient

Kindergarten has been taking the MAP tests this week and some results are in! First, here's what MAP is: The Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) Growth Test is a computer-based, adaptive assessment for K-12 students that measures academic achievement and growth in reading, language, math, and science. The test is administered at the beginning, middle, and end of the school year and has no time limit. MAP is designed to help educators understand a student's academic journey, identify strengths and weaknesses, and plan instruction accordingly.  Now, drum roll please... Every Kindergarten student met their year end goal for reading growth!
