The class of 2030 is selling rolls as a fundraiser this year and I was wondering if we could get it posted on Facebook and get it put in the newsletter!

Here is a little blurb to go along with the flyer:

🎄 Texas Roadhouse Fundraiser – Support the Class of 2030! 🎄

We’re partnering with Texas Roadhouse for a delicious holiday fundraiser! 🥖✨

📅 Order Dates: November 15–29
🛒 How to Order: Complete your order online using the QR code or link below.
📦 Pick-Up: Mrs. Smith will pick up all orders on December 16, and they’ll be ready for pickup at the school on December 17 — just in time for your Christmas dinners!

All proceeds will go toward supporting the Cascade Class of 2030 as they prepare to enter high school next year.

Thank you for your support — every roll helps our students roll into high school! 🧈💙

Meet in the big gym. See you there!

Our 10th graders took on another exciting Tribe Challenge today after reading Chapter 6 of Lord of the Flies, in which our characters encounter a parachuter who has dropped to the island. This time, students faced a hands-on STEM task: designing and building a parachute using a set list of materials. Awards were presented for the parachute that traveled the farthest, the most visually creative design, and the tribe that demonstrated the strongest teamwork. Great effort today, sophomores!

Today Superintendent Patterson enjoyed learning about states of matter with the 2nd grade students. We learned about solids, liquids and gases all while enjoying a great rootbeer float!

2nd grade and Superintendent Patterson enjoying rootbeer floats.

Our sophomores are diving into Lord of the Flies by William Golding in an engaging way! After each chapter, students take part in “tribe challenges” that mirror the struggles of the characters. Having just finished Chapter 3, where the boys attempt to build shelters, their challenge today was to build huts of their own!

Working with limited resources, each tribe collaborated to design a stable, weatherproof, and sustainable hut. Teachers and staff judged the creations in three categories: Most Aesthetic, Most Practical, and Most Creative.

Fantastic effort and teamwork today, sophomores!
