🎉📚 Celebrating Second Grade Success! 📚🎉
We are thrilled to announce that 85% of our second graders scored proficient on the Idaho Reading Inventory (IRI) for the 2024-2025 school year!
To put that in perspective, last year's state average in the spring was 66.2% — and our students blew it out of the water! 🚀 https://www.sde.idaho.gov/assessment/accountability/index.html
This amazing growth is a reflection of our students’ hard work, our teachers’ dedication, and the incredible support from families and our school community. 💪📖❤️
Let’s give a huge round of applause to these young readers — the future is bright when it’s built on strong literacy! 🌟👏

Congratulations to our seniors and their families on reaching this milestone! 🎓

Kindergarten has been taking the MAP tests this week and some results are in!
First, here's what MAP is:
The Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) Growth Test is a computer-based, adaptive assessment for K-12 students that measures academic achievement and growth in reading, language, math, and science. The test is administered at the beginning, middle, and end of the school year and has no time limit. MAP is designed to help educators understand a student's academic journey, identify strengths and weaknesses, and plan instruction accordingly.
Now, drum roll please...
Every Kindergarten student met their year end goal for reading growth!

Freshman Charlotte Dunn competed in the 2A State Championships in Middleton where she was able to take the 8th place spot and earned the Rambler's points. Charlotte high jumped a height of 4'10, which tied her PR. As this was the last meet of the season, she left it all out there on the track. Congratulations to Charlotte Dunn on Athlete of the Week!
Sophomore Garrett Rogers made an astounding impression in the 2A State Championships, which took place in Middleton. Garrett jumped an impressive 6 feet and 2 inches in the high jump, where he took the gold medal for first place. He was also able to compete in the 400 meters, where he placed 9th out of 16, barely missing finals. Congratulations to Garrett Rogers on Athlete of the Week!

Our first graders are having a wonderful time growing a plant and writing down the progress! The life cycle of a plant has these curious minds hard at work!

Here is another great basketball camp opportunity for those student athletes who would like to improve on their skills! This is the 3rd annual "Go Get It" Basketball Camp. The camp is open to boys and girls. It serves as a fundraiser for the Boys' Basketball program's summer-ball schedule. This will be coached by Cascade's Varsity Boys Basketball Coach Josh Hurley and some of his team.
Coach Hurley and his coaching team have taken teams to the State Tournament the last 4 years in a row and have been named Long Pin Coach of the Year 3 of the last 4 years. Kids who enroll are certain to learn valuable skills at their level which they can build on over the summer!
All participants will receive a t-shirt in their size.
Don't wait! The sign-up deadline is coming up soon so shirts can get ordered.

Come on down to Cascade Auto THIS SATURDAY and support our volleyball team!
