Thank You Thank You Thank You Josh Miller, Heather Hegerhorst, and the Cross Country team for the time and effort they put into the "Rambler Run" City of Cascade for their help and cooperation and coordination to make this event a great reflection of this community. Cascade Golf Course, Jacob and the Board for their cooperation and the use of two Golf carts that made the set up and running of this meet a success . Cascade Parks and Recreation department, They showed up in force and cleaned and stocked the facilities. They also were a tremendous help in our traffic and Parking situations. What a great relief to have them at this race and to be so involved. Thank you Emily and Zack and the other members of the Parks and Recreation department. Idaho City Cross Country whose help allowed the" Rambler Run" to occur this year. Julie and Carter, thank you . Volunteers, I appreciate your help so much.. You make me very proud to be part of this community. Thank you. It takes a community to make the "Rambler Run" a great event for which we can be very proud.

Tomorrow, Irish Dance Idaho will be in with our Elementary PE classes. Tonight, come join in a free Irish Dance Workshop and pencil yourself in to attend a free Irish Dance Performance 10/9/24 at 6:30 at the Roxy.

Athlete of the Week for 9/23-9/27 is junior Jackson Hansen! Jackson had a remarkable game against the Tri-Valley Titans last Friday, September 27. Jackson received the ball 4 times, 3 of which resulted in touchdowns. Altogether, he received the ball for a total of 135 yards. Jackson also put in the work on the defensive side of the ball, where he created 10 tackles and 2 assisted tackles. Congratulations to Jackson Hansen on winning Athlete of the Week.

For the month of October, we will be partnering with Horizons and their partners to bring in Irish Dance Idaho for our Elementary PE classes. Mark your calendars for October 8 for a free Irish Dance Workshop and October 9 for a free Irish Dance Performance!

Perpetua Resources came to Cascade this week to deliver a $40,000 check to be used to directly benefit our Career Technical Education (CTE) program! At Cascade, our CTE program consists mostly of Welding, Plant Science, Agricultural Mechanics, and Animal Sciences. Thank you Perpetua Resources - we greatly appreciate the investment in our programming and our youth!

Good Morning Just a quick reminder about the Rambler Run this thursday ay Van Wyck state park. We need volunteers to arrive around 1:30PM or 2:00pm. The first race starts at 4pm. Thank you in advance for your willingness to help. Junior High Football team will play its last game against Salmon River on Thursday October 10th here at home.This is a make up game from a cancellation due to poor air quality. The game will start at 4:30

We are looking for a few more great people to join our Substitute teacher pool and will be hosting an orientation/training on October 21 at 8:15am in Room 135. We will be taking the time to review expectations, the basics of being a substitute teacher with us, and getting you ready to accept your first sub job. The pay rates for substitute teachers have increased this year and the amount of time you spend working is completely up to you. We would love to see you join our wonderful Rambler team!

Good Morning Rambler Nation Hopefully you plan to help out at the "Rambler Run" on October 3rd at Van Wyck Park. This is a great event, many cross country teams have said Cascade is their favorite course to run. Volunteers need at 1:30. Volleyball in Garden Valley this Tuesday , JV at 6 pm and Varsity at 7:30.

This is happening tomorrow before the Homecoming game! Please come join us for this exciting accomplishment for the Cascade School District. See you at noon! Edit: This post previously said this was before the "Homecoming Parade" and was in error.

Volleyball player, Ceder Saxton, was voted athlete of the week for the week of 9/9-9/15! Ceder is an athlete who never gives up and always gives 110%. She had the following stats at the Idaho Classic Tournament located in Meridian, ID: 27 digs, 12 aces, and served with an extraordinary 91%. Way to go!! Congratulations to Ceder Saxton, our athlete of the week.

Help Help Help The Cross Country team at Cascade High School host the "Rambler Run" we are in need of Volunteers for various duties On October 3rd. The race is held at Van Wyck State Park and the Cascade Golf Course The Race set up will be the morning of the event and the first race starts at 4 pm with middle school Girls. The middle school boys will follow at 4:30.. Thank you in advance for your help, this is a great event and has become a favorite course for many of the schools. Varsity girls will run at 5 pm and the varsity Boys will run at 5:45. If you are available to help please send an email to ronem@cascade schools.org

Good Afternoon We had to move the Girls Varsity Volleyball game scheduled for September 27th to Monday September 30th. Officials were not able to be assigned for the previous date. Game time will be 6pm and 7:30.

Athlete of the Week for 9/2-9/8 is Claire Pierce! Claire had a fantastic game against the Horseshoe Bend Mustangs, which took place on September 5th. Claire had a serving percentage of 78% accuracy and a receiving accuracy of 60%. Claire also had 7 kills, 7 digs, and 1 block, which made a huge impact on the game. Congrats Claire!
