Athlete of the Week: 2/17-23 by Finn Wilkins: Senior Hayden Hull has earned Athlete of the Week after he did extremely well while facing off against the Greenleaf Grizzlies on the 19th of February. Hull scored 22 points and was able to rack up an astounding 15 rebounds, ending the game with a double-double. Hayden also puts great effort on the defensive side of the ball where he made several key stops. The Ramblers beat the Grizzlies 68-44 which puts them in the District Championship. Congratulations to Hayden Hull on Athlete of the Week!

Athlete of the Week: 2/10-2/16: Freshman Addie Hull won Athlete of the Week again for doing great in the week of girls' districts. With games on the 10th, 11th, and 12th of February, she averaged 17 points and 11 rebounds. On the defensive side of the ball, she was very aggressive, creating 2 deflections and stealing the ball 4 times. The Ramblers lost 2 games and won once, getting 4th overall at districts. Congratulations to Addie Hull on Athlete of the Week again!

Athlete of the Week 2/3-2/9: Freshman Addie Hull had a phenomenal game against the Greenleaf Grizzlies on the 5th of February. Addie scored 17 points and gathered 11 rebounds to help support the Ramblers victory. On the defensive side, she stole the ball 3 times and deflected it another 2 times. The final score of the game was 61-5. Congratulations to Addie Hull on female Athlete of the Week! Junior, Finley Wilkins, played very well against the Greenleaf Grizzlies and the Salmon River Savages, which took place on the 4th and 6th of February. Wilkins averaged 15 points and 7 assists on the offensive side of the ball. On the defensive side, he was also looking to fight for rebounds and create steals. The Ramblers beat the Savages 64-41, along with a 69-49 win over the Grizzlies. Congratulations to Finley Wilkins on male Athlete of the Week!

Athlete of the Week: 1/26-2/2 Freshman Addie Hull played extremely well against the Horseshoe Bend Mustangs. On January 30th, the Ramblers went to play the Mustangs where Addie Hull scored 11 points and collected 9 rebounds on the offensive side of the ball. On the defensive side, she put in the same effort, creating 1 steal and 3 deflections. The final score was 48-16 Ramblers! Congratulations to Addie Hull on Athlete of the Week!

Week In Review- Basketball By Nova Guest and Finn Wilkins On the 30th of January, the Boys’ Varsity team traveled to play the Horseshoe Bend Mustangs. Hayden Hull was the top scorer, as he gathered 15 points. Following closely behind him were Cole Olson with 13 points, Finley Wilkins with 11 points, and Will Huckaby with 9 points. Cole Olson and Davis Taylor were also able to find assists, where Cole found 6 and Davis found 5. The game's final score resulted in the Rambler's favor, beating the Mustangs 59-39. The next day, they traveled to Council to face off against the Council Lumberjacks. Through this battle, the Ramblers made a comeback while being down by 14 points, but ended up losing by 3 points in overtime. Several players stepped up in this game including Hayden Hull, who took 4 charges in 4 quarters. The Rambler Boys play again on Feb. 4th against Salmon River. The Cascade Girls’ basketball also traveled to both Horseshoe Bend and Council this past weekend. Horseshoe Bend was a blowout game, which the girls won by 32 points. Claire Peirce, Kielee Mack, and Lauren Taylor all received Player of the Game for their outstanding work against them. Council, on the other hand, was a hard-fought battle for the Ramblers with us losing 31-49. Addie Hull and Lauren Taylor both got Player of the Game for their valiant effort and hard work on the floor. The Ramblers play again at home on Wednesday the 5th against Greenleaf at 6 pm.
